Hi there!

Welcome to my website! I’m Junko (June-co). I am originally from Japan, now I am living in Wayne county Ohio where there are lots of Amish people around. I love the community here that I belong to with slow living, neighbors as friends and beautiful landscapes!

I started seriously taking photos when I was working at at a day care in Japan. With the parents gone at work, they wouldn’t be there to see special moments of their children doing things like dancing with their friends, building sand castles & swimming. I got so much joy from creating children a photo album & fillinf it with these precious photos. It is said that one photo is worth a thousand words & I agree with that! God made the beauty, I capture it! I want love and joy to lift off the photos I take.

I was born & raised on the west side of Japan. Late in life, I met Randy when he came to Japan to build the church I was attending. We got married in the church Randy built in 2000 and we moved to Switzerland to serve in Youth With A Mission for a short time in 2001. We moved to Ohio where Randy was born & raised. In July 2003, our only daughter was born. I have enjoyed being a mom ever since. Randy started his own photography business and became a commercial photographer.

I am very blessed to have the abundance of equipment available because of his work. Randy & I took our daughter Miki’s photo everyday for the first year and many more after that. Each year, up until College, I created a photo album for her filled with all the highlights from her year. I hope she treasures them as she gets older.

In Fall 2021, Randy & I officially became empty nesters when Miki went off to collage. We now spoil our dog Candy!
